6 Days Tour to Imperial Cities

Upon arrival in Morocco, Viajarmarrakech will greet you at the airport and begin your journey with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Afterward, we will drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, for a guided tour of the city, including the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Hassan Tower. In the evening, we transfer to Chefchaouen for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Spend the morning exploring the charming town of Chefchaouen, known for its bright blue-washed buildings. Wander through the narrow cobbled streets and walls of the medina. Afterward, drive to Moulay Idriss near Volubilis to explore the Roman ruins and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss. Continue to Meknes for an afternoon exploration of this imperial city before heading to Fes for dinner and an overnight stay.

Travel from Fes through the Middle Atlas mountains and cedar forests, passing through Ifrane and Azrou, a typical Berber village. Cross the Ziz Valley and Ziz Gorges on the way to Erfoud. From there, take a rock desert trail to Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset and stay overnight in a luxury Berber tent in the heart of the dunes, with dinner provided.

Wake up early to witness the sunrise and enjoy sandboarding or an hour of ATV (quad biking) before breakfast and a shower. Ride camels back to Merzouga to meet your driver. Travel back to Marrakech, stopping for lunch along the way. Arrive in Marrakech around 7:00 PM.

After breakfast, explore Marrakech, the “Red City of Morocco.” Viajarmarrakech will ensure you see key historical and cultural sites, including the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Tower, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. After lunch near the square, stroll through the souks to view various handicrafts. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon to explore the city on your own.

Make the most of your final day in Marrakech. When it’s time for departure, Viajarmarrakech will arrange a transfer to either Marrakech or Casablanca airport for your return flight.
