Your ViajarMarrakech driver will pick you up from your hotel in Fez for your Middle Atlas day tour. Depart for Azrou, passing through the picturesque city of Ifrane, where you’ll have some free time to enjoy a hot cup of coffee. Continue to Azrou, a Berber village at an altitude of 1250 meters, featuring homes of the Berber tribes, the original inhabitants of Morocco. Observe Berber men with their sheep herds, grinding flour, or practicing their traditional trades. Visit the well-preserved cedar forests of Morocco, where Barbary apes leap among the tall prickly branches. Along the way, you might even spot gray Atlas swoons or boar.
1 PM: Lunch Time
Enjoy an optional lunch at a local restaurant in Khenifra. In the afternoon, visit the Khenifra countryside, including the Aguelmame Lake, the largest lake in North Africa, and the Oum Rabie River springs.
5 PM: Drop-off
Conclude your visit and transfer back to your hotel in Fez via the Aïn Louh road.
